We hope you will enjoy this site and be inspired to become involved with our quest for peace.

Spirit of Peace is a UK based charity founded on spiritual and holistic approaches to peace building. It aims to:

• Contribute to the creation of a culture of peace and non-violence

• Foster social cohesion through multicultural and multi-faith workshops, retreats and gatherings

• Develop and disseminate principles and tools derived from its spiritual and holistic approach to peace building.

• Act as a forum for individuals and organisations with gifts and skills which they would like to develop and use in the context of peace building

The overall context of Spirit of Peace is what many today refer to as the ‘emerging new consciousness’fluencing a growing number of people around the world. You will find more about this in subsequent pages.

flfluences include the movement to reclaim religions as a source of peace, and our partnership with Jerusalem Peacemakers, a group of grassroots peacemakers who work from a similar perspective to build peace in The Middle East.
