PURPOSE

Spirit of Peace is working alongside others to rise to the above challenge, in the field of peace building and social cohesion. Its purpose is to foster greater peace and equality, the main thrust of the work being in The UK, and also in The Middle East (through partnership with Jerusalem Peacemakers).

This will be achieved through multicultural gatherings, workshops, talks, retreats, publications and Spirit of Peace Networking Events.

ESSENCE

Unity consciousness is fundamental to Spirit of Peace. There is a growing movement of people globally who live with an understanding of the interdependence and interconnection of all life. An awareness of Oneness was an important principle in the work of Mahatma Gandhi and is at the heart of the emerging new consciousness. It is this awareness which Spirit of Peace seeks to embody in its work.

Beyond our ideas of right doing and wrong doing,
